The Rolling Stones Specialist - 11.000 records of the Rolling Stones on sale
no bargains, no over-priced records: the right place for the RS Collectors

The first EP of the Rolling Stones is very collectible thanks to many variations in labels and covers: a minimum of 17 variations are reported in "The Rolling Stones Singles - DECCA Years" book currently available via Amazon.

Here you are the rarest variation ever that usually sells at no less than €100.

Tax code on both labels is M/T, instead of the usual K/T. Not a mistake, actually!

There are a lot of DECCA albums issued with this tax code well after the tax code was changed and became K/T. If you want to know more about the true story of the tax code, please refer to the book.

Facts are that this EP is extremely rare and unknown to the most of the Collectors of the Rolling Stones and it ranks in the Top 10 of the British singles issued by DECCA.

The copy I offer now is more than correct:

M/T tax code on both labels

cover West Brothers Printers

Bill Wyman plays base guitar

On rear, there's a precious small hand-written 11/64 that sets this EP as issued in 1964, but was not part of the very first release (January 1964).

visual grading: strong VG++ (cover)/ EXC (labels)/ VG (vinyl)
