Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.

 

 

 

This is an auction for:  The Rollins Stones – No.2 – RARE Original Vinyl LP album from 1964.

 

2A, 2A Matrixes.

Unboxed Decca.

 

 

 

 

 

Vinyl Condition: G (Lots of light marks, light scuffs, light lines and some light scratches etc as you would expect for a used record of its age but nothing major. The record plays great with some light crackle in places. Good sound quality with the usual light distortion from being played a number of times over the years but no sticks or jumps at all. There is lots of spindle wear and spidering. Overall a good playing original which is in much better condition than many I have seen).

 

Inner Sleeve Condition: Fair (Original inner has lots of folds, creases and a 4cm tear to the back and some smaller tears in places. Overall tatty but intact).

 

Outer Sleeve Condition: G/VG (Front laminated sleeve is good for its age and is much better than many I have seen. There are quite a lot of creases to the front and some lifting of the laminate. The back has lots of stains and yellow marks but no writing or pen marks. Overall The sleeve shows some age but is much better than many copies available).

 

 

 

I grade my vinyl’s as follows:

 

M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.

Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
