Description

Up for sale today is a UK first press of the Rolling Stones LP Out of our heads.  Good condition; see below for more details;

Decca. UK 1965. Mono LK 4733 - Matrix ARL 6974-12A & 6973-8B.

I have played this LP through on my Thorens turntable using a Goldring stylus (in case you are interested!) and it still sounds great after 50 plus years, however it is a little crackly with a few pops in places, noticeable in the quiet parts (lucky there aren't many!) hardly any spindle wear so I guess I didn't play it that much.  The cover is intact with a small nick at the top left and side opening and some yellowing on the back cover - see scans. 

Try buying a Stones LP of this age in mint condition and you would probably have to pay a lot of money - that's is why I am putting this copy on a low starting bid of £15 with no reserve because I am not claiming it is in perfect condition - OK!  This copy has lasted pretty well and still sounds very powerful compared to the version you can get on the re-mastered CD in my opinion.  Interesting to note that there are only three Jagger / Richards originals on this LP which mainly consists of cover versions of their favourite R&B and Blues songs.
