You are bidding on the rare LP:
The Roots of Robert Johnson, released by Yazoo Records (L-1073) in 1986. Has colorful peacock label. Made in the U.S.
*This collection showcases what many consider to be some of the absolute greatest delta blues recordings of all-time, and that is a very difficult opinion to refute. Skip James' "Devil Got My Woman" is easily one of the greatest recordings of the genre, and you'll also be treated to James' piano playing on "20-20 Blues" here. Also featured here is the classic "Milk Cow Blues" by Kokomo Arnold, the intoxicating "When the Sun Goes Down" by Leroy Carr, the raucous & righteous "Preachin' the Blues Pt. 1" & "My Black Mama Pt. 1" by Son House, Charlie Patton's mystifying "Revenue Man Blues", the indescribable "Roll and Tumble Blues" by Hambone Willie Newbern, the Mississippi Sheiks' timeless "Sitting On Top of the World", the delta swing of Casey Bill Weldon's "Go Ahead, Buddy" and many others.*
The Vinyl is visually-graded in VG+ condition. When looked at under a bright light, the record shows a rich luster and a few, very light surface marks.
The Cover is still in its shrink and is graded in VG+ condition, just showing some very minor edge wear.
Shipping is calculated by ebay at the actual cost for you, the consumer. I don't charge any extra fees for material or handling. Please note that my shipping costs have gone up ever so slightly, to more accurately reflect what the Post Office charges, especially with international shipping. I am making some slight adjustments with ebay's calculated shipping to more accurately reflect the actual rates. Thanks.
For combined shipping, please add $1 for each additional LP you purchase. If you buy many records from me, I can ship them all together in one box, and charge you the actual cost I pay at the post office. International customers, please keep in mind that once you reach 4 pounds (roughly 4 LPs+), 1st Class International is no longer a shipping option, and you must ship Priority or Express.
Insurance is your option as a buyer. International customers, please keep in mind that you can only insure your item if you ship Express, which can be very expensive. Please contact me if you would prefer this option.
