INCREDIBLE !!! THIS ONE IS AN ULTRA RARE 1968 single on SPARK Records Label !!! A real holy grail...

This obscur band has become a legend and released  a few a singles from 1966 to 1968 and the “Captain Nemo” fantastic LP, with Beatlesque melodies, West Coast & Psychedelic great tunes. The Sundowners appeared in the “Don't Make Waves” movie & popular TV shows, and they toured with The Monkees and Jimi Hendrix, wow!!!

This single is unique and so rare on this label.

SPARK Records was a label started by Bob Kingston of Southern Music London circa 1967. Artists released on the SPARK label include Eartha Kitt, Ravi Shankar, Becker & Fagan, Tramp and Elmer Gantry's Velvet Opera. SPARK Records was the recording branch of the Denmark Street-based publishers Southern Music. Under the aegis of managing director Bob Kingston, Southern were involved in various aspects of the British music biz: as well as pushing out music library material courtesy of regular session players like Jimmy Page and Clem Cattini, they represented the songwriting likes of Donovan, John Carter and Ken Lewis since the early 60s and recorded/released their own masters through the late-70s with UK Top Ten hits from A New Generation, Peppers, the Band of the Black Watch and Wigan's Ovation.
