Up for sale is an EX+ release of The Scorpions ? Virgin Killer ?  Pressed “Ironically” on JP Virgin Vinyl ? 1st JP Pressing released on RCA RVP-6155 with the now Banned & Withdrawn album cover! 

This recalled jacket (banned in both UK & US) is High on the “List of most notable Banned album covers” of all time. WOW…what they got away with back in the day is surprising.

As you know, there is not much higher quality than these very limited edition Japanese mastered pressings on virgin vinyl. This is no exception! 

Audiophile level sound quality. Strong dynamics, excellent fidelity, and very quiet background. These records are treasured by Audiophile Enthusiasts with high end Turntable and sound equipment. Vinyl Condition: EX+   Recorded on 32 Track HQ Tape, it is LOUD, Rich and Full. Beautiful playback, almost no surface marks, near silent intros & between all tracks. There is only 1 very faint tick on the intros. Near perfect throughout.

Jacket Condition:  EX+  High Luster shinny jacket w only VERY tiny corner nicks. This one is in a JP poly sleeve with standard JP anti-stat inner jacket

Condition Inserts:  EX++ 4 Page B&W Insert w JP + English Lyrics, band member photos and record data is VERY nice with no discoloration. No OBI though

Vinyl Grading (Based On PLAYBACK Grading if not sealed):

M            Record is still sealed in the original factory shrink wrap without any defects.

NM         Record looks close to new with no marks

EX          Record May have a few light scuffs or very light scratches which should not affect sound quality

VG+        Record may have a few scuffs or light scratches which may result in some minor surface noise during play

VG          Record has clear wear on the surface. Surface noise may be present, including pops and crackles but the record       should play through nicely without any skips 

Jacket / Picture Sleeve Grading:  

M            Record is still sealed in the original factory shrink wrap without any defects to the jacket or picture sleeve

NM         Cover looks close to new with virtually no signs of wear.   Most records in this category are still in the original (opened) shrink wrap.

EX          Cover has some slight wear but is still in excellent condition overall.  All seams are intact.

VG+        Cover has signs of wear like scuffing, ring wear, writing or price tags.  All seams are intact.

VG          Cover suffers from corner dings, folding, significant scuffing, spine splits, and/or discoloration.
