The Sensational Alex Harvey Band Framed Vinyl LP 1973 6360 081 Spaceship labels VG+ Bear with me as |I am not a record dealer but will try to describe the LP as accurately as possible. I will be selling a large collection of mostly 1970s albums, all of which were kept in clear plastic sleeves from new and have mostly never been played and are consequently in excellent condition. This is a 1973 First UK Repressing with a misprint to the track listing. I would describe the vinyl as a VG+ grading. First repress in the original matte die-cut gatefold cover on Vertigo 'spaceship' labels.
This album has a 'Unipak'-style gatefold cover [disc access from the inside] with only one card layer for the front lap.
Poly-lined standard inner sleeve.
Misprint: The order of parts 1-3 of track A4 incorrectly printed inside gatefold as follows:
Part 1. Virgin And The Hunter
Part 2. My Lady Of The Night
Part 3. Coitus Interruptus
The correct order appears on the label. On the cover the producer credit goes to The Alex Harvey Band, on the labels to Alex Harvey only.
In contrast to the original ‘swirl’ release, the song writing credits are now listed on the labels. The writing credit for A1 is incorrectly given for Ritchie Valens; this was corrected on later issues to Leiber & Stoller. Minor ring wear and slight bumps to corners - hence a VG+ grading.
