Vanguard Records catalog # VSD 79252, stereo, copyright 1967.

A very clean copy of San Francisco psyche-folk band The Serpent Power's self-titled (and only) album.

Led by poet David Meltzer, this group blends poetry and music to create a unique sound.

Personnel: David Meltzer - guitar, harmonica, vocal; Tina Meltzer - vocal; Denny Ellis - rhythm guitar; David Stenson - bass; John Payne - organ; Clark Coolidge - drums.
