The Shadows Of Knight "Gloria"

This is an original US vinyl pressing on Dunwich Records 666  from 1966.     This is the Mono pressing.       It has both of their hit singles : 'Gloria', which reached # 10 on Billboard on 4/16/66 and 'Oh Yeah', which reached # 39 on 7/2/66.    The band was : Jim Sohns, Warren Rogers, Jerry McGeorge, Tom Schiffour, and Joe Kelley.    This album is extremely hard to find with near mint vinyl.

This is one of the best garage records ever released !!      

The songs are : Gloria, Light Bulb Blues, I Got My Mojo Working, Dark Side, Boom Boom, Let It Rock, Oh Yea, It Always Happens That Way, You Can't Judge A Book ( By The Cover), (I'm Your) Hoochie Coochie Man, and I Just Want To Make Love To You.

 Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ /  Record is M-

The cover is VG+.    There are no seam splits and no writing.   There is partial ring wear at bottom center and bottom right.    There is seam wear at bottom right.        There is small name sticker on the back cover at top right.     The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint ( almost mint).        The labels have no spindle marks, but there is a name sticker on side one.        The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve.   

About Me :

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.  

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 8 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 24 ounces ( 1 pound, 8 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.      ( Buyers from Brazil must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )      I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
