Description

This is an oddity, the 12" 45RPM single 'Passion Fruit' by The Shillelagh Sisters. An 80's rockabilly-come-punk group, they found some initial success but tailed off after signing to CBS, where they found their rockabilly sound watered-down to drive sales. This title track was the first ever written by the vocalist, but one of the last recorded; with a latin feel and an aim to recreate the earlier feel of the group.
It's a cool oddity in very good condition, with minimal marks on the vinyl from card-sleeve removal but immaculate sleeve and labels.
Also of note is that the lead singer, Jacquie O'Sullivan who went on to join Bananarama.
