The Shining Movie Soundtrack  1980 Movie Various Artists Stanley Kubrick Movie. Jack Nicholson, Shelly Duvall Original  1980 Vinyl still in plastic wrapper but opened. Small separation on Cover Really nice condition Vinyl and labels both sides.
Great for the audiophile!!! Or ANY!! Collection.

All I can say is it's nice. I have a lot of vinyl and really got collecting back when CD's started. Out of 3000 to 4000 albums I bought This is my only copy of the Shining. I guess it's rare and I would say in Really nice condition and NOT a lot of play time on it. I do not see scratches but I have never played it as I do not want to damage it. As my good turntable is on the fritz. Please let me know if you have questions.
Note: On Second look I got very picky from a person looking for a "Mint" Copy perspective. Here is what I found;
 I see on the vinyl on "side one" there is a scratch that goes across all tracks. How Bad I cannot tell unless I play it but it's pretty hard to see and I tried to take a picture of it as it doesn't read in the picture. I really don't think it would make noise but It's there. On "side two" there  is a deeper scratch on the second track in and covers the whole track  then a little past it another bump on the next track and another one maybe to the third or fourth track. neither of these cover the whole tracks as they are small. They may make a pop but I just don't know. They look minor but ?
If you are looking for perfect Vinyl and you want no noise buy new as that's the only way to be sure.
ON The Cover:  There is a separation in the middle of the cover bottom(about two inches long) a little further down from the separation at the end as photographed. It's not a tear just a separation. I didn't notice it at first. You can glue it with no problem but I am not going to as I am not trying to cover up anything. It's very minor as it's between the sides of the cover inside . A drop of glue and no one could ever tell it was separated. Also there is dark kinda outline of the record on the cover center bottom I tried to scan it in but the plastic covered it. There are some discoloration areas  or fading to white at the ends of the cover also in a few places. These are not that bad and not noticeable but they are there.
The price sticker glue that is in the picture is on the plastic and not the cover itself.

What can I say I am a collector and this is an item I have shown off to other collectors as one of my gems. I hate to sell but property Taxes need to be paid..( I have some Beatles also " Taxman"  ..not funny....)
