SHE’S THE ONE/WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT
(VISCOUNT Z45/1243) (RELEASED 1965)
Mersey-beat styled Auckland quartet that released around a dozen singles during their span from 1963 to 1966. Early offerings were in the ‘pop’ vein but, as with a lot of groups, adapted to the changing sounds in the rock/pop world.
“She’s The One” is a raw, wyld upbeat Frat- Mersey-Garage pounder, originally released by US group ‘The Chartbusters’. (Both are great versions!)
“What More Do You Want” is a moody, poppy number originally released by The Ivy League.
Record = VG/VG+ (Visual VG, Plays VG+, minor hairlines but nothing affecting play)
Viscount labels in very good condition, Sticker and name on B side. Spindle marks minimal.
Overall, an item in acceptable condition and an enjoyable listen.
Registered Postage within Australia $7 - Sent in Padded Mailer. Overseas base postage $14. Item will be carefully wrapped using strong cardboard and bubblewrap.
