Quartet. Later Charles Dixon joined them as the baritone singer, thus forming this fine group, “THE SINGING KINSMEN” . Roger’s wife, Anita, pianist, and Melvin Dixon, bass guitar, do a splendid job as the instrumentalists. Each Sunday you will find all of these young people at the worship service of the Shawnetee United Methodist Church in Wayne County. “THE SINGING KINSMEN” not only sing religious songs with feeling and enthusiasm but they try to live the way they sing. ..with poise and humility. As you listen to this album, I feel sure that your heart will be warmed as mine has been each time I have heard them sing.
