Description
The Smiths - The Smiths (Rough Trade, UK 1984)
Gorgeous copy of The Smiths' 1984 debut LP on Rough Trade.
I don't where this copy has been for the last 40 years but it's certainly not been near a turntable more than once or twice.
The sleeve is in pristine shape and has the hype sticker on the front - it really is near Mint.
The vinyl plays near mint and is whisper quiet, but there is the odd hairline and very minor mark I'm grading it Excellent +.
The lyric inner is somewhere between Excellent and near Mint too - no seam splits, no wear to speak of and has clearly not been handled much at all.
Rough Trade labels (with the stencilled logo) are similarly Excellent.
You'd struggle to find an early copy in better condition than this.
I'll also supply the vinyl in a new shaped anti-static bag, to protect both it and the lyric inner sleeve.
Ultimate upgrade, I'd say.
