The Smiths

Girlfriend In A Coma 12" white label promo with 2 x press sheets

Sleeve, good condition, vinyl near mint, plays lovely, obviously not been played many times.

The first A4 press sheet with release info referring to “Girlfriend...” single release and “Strangeways...” album release is fairly common. (slight yellowing and creasing but not folded).

The second A4 press sheet is much more interesting! It is dated the 8th September 1987 and refers to Johnny leaving the Smiths and Morrissey starting work on his solo record for EMI with Steven Street! Also mentions Andy Rourke and Mike Joyce not continuing with Mozza. Also about Mozzas part in the soap opera, Brookside?!?!

This press sheet is yellowed with age and has a brown stain at the top, see pic.

Rear of sleeve has ‘Not for sale’ sticker over barcode
