Description

The Smiths - Hand In Glove c/w Handsome Devil (Live)

Very Rare later solid centre 7" Export pressing, pressed for sale outside of the UK. Sleeve has "Sleeve By Morrissey" rather than the more common "Sleeve By The Smiths". Also the legend "Endless Gratitude To Joe and Janet" is missing.

With regard to the record, Note that the Label Area is raised, is a slightly thicker pressing than regular UK pressings, and also the slightly shorter Matrices (as seen on Irish pressings) than regular UK pressings: RT 136 A-2U-1-2 (Stamped on the A side) & RT 136 B (Handwritten matrix on the B side). 

I haven't had this confirmed as an Export pressing, but believe it to be so, going on the various evidence.

  • DISC CONDITION - Excellent Condition, with a beautiful Shine, and showing only the most minor signs of any use
  • SLEEVE CONDITION - Again, Excellent - some extremely minor signs by of use
  • A lovely Example of this Extremely rare variation!
