Description
A rare original 1984 UK first pressing of Hatful Of Hollow on Rough Trade (ROUGH 76), pressed at the CBS Aston Clinton plant.
This gatefold copy carries the scarce misprint variant — the rear sleeve is missing the black dot between "Accept Yourself" and "Girl Afraid" in the tracklist, a known and sought-after printing error on early copies of this release.
Housed in the correct first-issue gatefold sleeve with the band photo printed inside, plus the original printed lyric inner sleeve.
Front sleeve carries the original hype sticker reading "16 Tracks Including 1983+84 John Peel + David Jensen Show Sessions" with Maximum R.R.P. £3.99 — the "1983+84" wording and £3.99 pricing are a recognised marker of the true first-issue Aston Clinton pressing, distinguishing it from later repressings which carry a revised sticker without "+84."
Condition
Vinyl: Excellent — light surface marks/hairlines consistent with play, nothing untoward for its age.
Gatefold sleeve: Excellent — minimal edge wear, still an excellent example.
Inner sleeve: excellent condition.
Hype sticker: present and legible (see photos).
