The setlist was the same as on the previous night, plus an extra encore of "Barbarism Begins At Home" which lasted 15 minutes. This final concert of the Smiths' first ever North American tour was a complete success despite the occasional sound problems and technical difficulties.

Coming on stage, Morrissey greeted the audience "Good evening!" before launching into a slow but passionate version of "Meat Is Murder". After "Nowhere Fast" in which the Smiths experienced a few technical difficulties, Morrissey apologised "Sorry about all those mishaps and squeaks... and err... sorry about the songs, this is the way it has to be." Soon after, "Stretch Out And Wait" was introduced with "This song is called 'Stretch Out And Wait'." The song suffered from more of those 'mishaps and squeaks' heard in "Nowhere Fast".

After "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now", to someone who kept shouting his name, Morrissey shouted "What!?" in a voice that almost sounded angry. He kept that tone in his performance of "What She Said" which followed. After "Still Ill" Morrissey said "Thank you friends." Before "Reel Around The Fountain", Morrissey said "Thank you... you're very kind, thank you".

Returning for the second of three encores, Morrissey exclaimed "We didn't expect this, thank you!" before going into "William, It Was Really Nothing". Two songs later the Smiths did a very rocking version of "Miserable Lie" in which Morrissey took a few liberties with the melody of certain lines. For the third encore the Smiths did a version of "Barbarism Begins At Home" which lasted fifteen minutes. It was to be that song's last ever live performance. The show (and the Smiths' first North American tour) then ended in a massive stage invasion.
