The Smiths - Meat Is Murder - Vinyl LP
This is an original album on the Sire Records label from 1985.
Album cover is in mint condition with only a tiny bit of wear on the back. Original paper sleeve with the lyrics is included but is starting to separate.
Meat Is Murder was the second studio album by The Smiths and the first to reach #1 on the UK Albums Chart. It marked a darker, more politically charged turn from their debut, with Morrissey’s lyrics tackling subjects like animal rights, corporal punishment, education, and bleak working-class life in Britain. Song list can be seen on the back of the album.
I will ship via USPS Media Mail which is $5.22. I will combine shipping at my cost. eBay adds $1.50 for each additional album. I package items very securely using a box that costs me almost a dollar a pop.
I can’t test the record itself as I haven’t had a turntable in over 30 years. I have kept these upright and indoors (not in a garage, basement or storage unit) that whole time. I always held my albums correctly and used a Discwasher when I played them. (Read the feedback on albums I’ve just sold.) I finally decided it was time to sell all of these.
