Description
The experience of buying records on Ebay is ruined if, when they arrive, you discover that they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging in a 'box' mailer with the record outside the sleeve to avoid seam-splitting. They are also from a non-smoking and pet-free home.

This purple/multicoloured 'splattered' heavyweight vinyl pressing of The Smiths album 'Meat Is Murder' is reminiscent of the 1980s German coloured vinyl pressings of Smiths releases, but is actually an unofficial pressing since 'Meat Is Murder' was never issued by Rough Trade on coloured vinyl. Although unofficial, it is nonetheless a very interesting and visually-attractive record which is appearing less and less often for sale as time goes by. This copy has never been played, and has been stored from new in immaculate condition (see below) and, as such, is now a rare find.The record and labels are in near mint condition, being unplayed and having no discernable surface marks on the heavyweight and strikingly-coloured vinyl. The outer sleeve is similarly in near mint condition, being completely flat and glossy with no creases; there is not even any corner or edge wear to detract from its appearance. It would be difficult to find a copy of this coloured-vinyl pressing remaining in better condition today. Please see the accompanying photos for more detail; note that the 'Ebay ID' lettering is just on the pictures and not on the item itself.
