This example carries the highly desirable 'PEEPHOLISM' runout etching on Side One together with ROUGH 126 A-2U-1-1 / B-2U-1-1 TY1, identifying it as an original UK EMI pressing. The distinctive PEEPHOLISM etching is exclusive to the original Rough Trade issue and is a key feature sought after by Smiths collectors.
Recorded live at the National Ballroom, Kilburn in October 1986, Rank captures The Smiths at their absolute peak, featuring definitive live performances of classics including The Queen Is Dead, Panic, Bigmouth Strikes Again, Ask, Cemetry Gates and I Know It's Over. Released in September 1988, it became the band's only official live album and reached No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart.
