The experience of buying records on Ebay is ruined if, when they arrive, you discover that they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging. They are also from a non-smoking and pet-free home.

The Smiths - 'So This Is America' Live Double Bootleg LP - 1986

This rare 1986 double vinyl LP is a good quality bootleg recording of the Mansfield concert on the USA leg of the fabled 'Queen Is Dead' tour on the 5th August 1986. The terrific sleeve artwork is unique to this release, and the rear of the sleeve has a photo of Morrissey above the track listing. The only exception to the above is the track 'What She Said', which is included here from the well-known 1985 Oxford concert. A very nice item indeed which is here offered in highly collectable condition (see below).Both records appear in near mint unplayed condition, with no surface marks on the highly-glossy vinyl. The red labels have some minor 'bubbling' in places, being of slightly lower manufacturing quality than an official release, and there is some imprint on one of the labels from the label on the other record; but the records nonetheless have a new, as-released, feel to them. The interesting outer sleeve is in strong excellent condition, with strong edges and just some very minor corner wear. There is no writing or damage anywhere and neither any seam-splitting to the outer sleeve. Please see the accompanying photos for more detail; note that the 'Ebay ID' lettering is just on the pictures and not on the item itself.
