Description
I have come across a collection of records that defy time.
They belonged to a collector who was buying in the mid to late 60's through the 70's and 80's
However his family have said that he didn't own a record player until the mid 80's.
Very strange I know, but what it means is that the early records have in most cases never been played or at the most one play.
Naturally people's tastes in music change and that's why the 80's albums have had more play than the 60's
There are some incredible records in this collection
I aim to release one per day and will list them at 8pm UK time so that they don't get confused with my other listings
I will also be playing each record and recording IT. My very very careful test play will go undetected however

FULLY PLAY TESTED PRIOR TO LISTING
PRISTINE EXAMPLE
A first edition has no band name on the front of the sleeve. The logo on the label and on the sleeve parodies the famous CAPITOL record label
The sleeve has the capitol dome over the word rough. The typeface also matches the capitol style. The sleeve also adds the ring around the logo

THE CREAM LABELS ARE JUST MAGNIFICENT. DEEP RICH COLOURS THAT ARE FREE FROM ANY BLEMISHES. NO MARKS OR STAINS AND NO SIGNS OF HANDLING WHATSOEVER.
NO RUBBING TO THE TYPEFACE OR LOGO'S
THERE IS ONE TINY SPIDER LINE AROUND THE SPINDLE HOLE
THE VINYL
THE VINYL IS ABSOLUTELY PRISTINE!! NOT A BLEMISH ON IT. IN DAYLIGHT IT IS TOTALLY FLAWLESS
EVEN UNDER SPOTLIGHTS THERE IS NOTHING TO SEE. IT LOOKS UNPLAYED
PLAYING THE RECORD
THE 12" PLAYS THROUGH PERFECTLY ON BOTH SIDES
THERE IS NO DISTORTION TO THE SUPERB STEREO REPRODUCTION AT ANY POINT.
NOR IS THERE ANY BACKGROUND CRACKLE OR LOUD CLICKS
NO VINYL NOISE WHATSOEVER, AND NO AUDIBLE STATIC EITHER
NO DUST POPS OR ANY OTHER UNWANTED NOISES
THIS ALBUM PLAYS SUPERBLY THROUGHOUT AND IS EASILY MINT
THE SLEEVE
NON LAMINATED SINGLE SLEEVE
THE FRONT SURFACE IS CLEAN AND IMPORTANTLY HAS NO HEAVY CREASES OR BENDS.
NO RING WEAR OR RECORD SHAPE
THE FOUR CORNERS ARE SHARP AND SQUARE WITH A TINY SPECK OF RUB TO TWO OF THEM
THERE IS ONE TINY PRESSURE LINE AGAINST THE SPINE. ONE ON THE TOP EDGE. ONE ON THE BOTTOM EDGE, AND NO THUMB LINES NEAR THE OPENING EDGE
THE TOP EDGE IS IN MINT CONDITION
THE BOTTOM EDGE IS ISIMILAR WITH A DOT OF RUB TO THE RIGHT TIP END
THE SPINEIS FLAT AND HAS PRISTINE COLOURS . A SPECK OF RUB TO THE BOTTOM TIP END
THE OPENING EDGE IS RAZOR SHARP, AND SHOWS WHY THIS RECORD HAS JUST NOT BEEN OUT OF THE SLEEVE
THE REAR SURFACE IS AS CLEAN AS THE FRONT
THE PLAIN WHITE INNER SLEEVE IS IN MINT CONDITION. NO SPLITS, NO CREASES, NO WRINKLES
