DESCRIPTION: Smiths LP- The Queen Is Dead. Stickered gatefold cover,glossy inner sleeve and rough trade labels. Matrices ending A1/B1. ""Fear Of Manchester" and "Them Was Rotten Days" in the deadwax. NO BARCODE. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Rough Trade ROUGH 96 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1984 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/NM. Vinyl is clean with a nice sheen. Played passages on my Pro-ject Deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent. Clear and loud. Gatefold cover is amazingly firm and square (see photo 3) and has absolutely minimal edgewear, cornerwear and creasing. Near perfect spine. Glossy inner sleeve is in fantastic condition also. Super clean labels. No writing, rips or stickers. Has been kept in a PVC sleeve from new and it tells. Super cover. If you want the PVC cover then the postage will be for a double as it just takes the packed weight over 500gm. Let me know. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN TOP QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. ALL ITEMS (OR COMBINATIONOF ITEMS) SELLING FOR OVER £30 MUST BE SENT SIGNED FOR OR AIRSURE TO COMPLY WITH PAYPAL POLICIES- ASK ME FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
