Description

For Auction, A Gorgeous Copy of the Landmark LP by The Smiths, titled Meat Is Murder. The Label is US Sire, but the Label also says Rough Trade, and dates from 1984. This is very first US pressing, with a Promo Stamped Cover. The Vinyl LP is in NM condition, with no groove wear, and no scratches. It looks like it has hardly, if ever, seen the turntable. No way you'll find a better copy of the vinyl. The Promo Cover is also in NM. The paper inner sleeve has a slight tear on the bottom. Over the next few weeks, I will be selling some my Smiths collection, and many of the LP's are in Pristine condition. This beauty has been in storage for many years, and now that I am Old & Grey, it is time to give it a new owner. I have been collecting records since the 1950's, and I know how to grade them, and ship them. The record cover will be  placed in a protective sleeve, and the vinyl will be shipped out of the album jacket. It will be shipped in a 13 X 13 X 3 box, with protective packing peanuts.
