Description
Up for bid is the vinyl record “A Can of Bees" by The Soft Boys on Two Crabs Universal published in 1979. It says “Made in England” on the back cover. It has been in my personal collection since the day I bought in soon after it was released. It was very well cared for and played only a few times. I was always very careful with my records, always touching them by the edges only. I switched my music collection to CD’s and digital in the 1980’s and have not played my records after I switched over. Since then, it has been stored in my cool, dark and dry basement. I decided it is time to let some other people enjoy this great vinyl music since I am no longer using it.
This record is a very hard to find import. Any Soft Boys/Robyn Hitchcock fan needs this in their collection.
The bottom of the back cover says “This album is dedicated to anyone who started out as an animal and winds up as a processing unit.” Wow!
The outer sleeve is in mint or near mint condition. It still has a plastic cover that is a little wrinkled, but the cover itself is like new. The inner sleeve is like new. The record has no scratches and has only been played a couple times. Songs on this records are:
Give it to the soft boys
The pig worker
Human music
Leppo and the hooves
The rat’s prayer
Do the chisel
Sandra’s having her brain out
Fatman’s son
(I want to be an) anglepoise lamp
Ugly Nora
Cold turkey
I will box in sturdy cardboard and ship within 2 business days of receiving payment. Shipping is $4 for media mail or $8 for priority mail - you pick.
