I never use generic AI descriptions.
This is in my opinion the rarest version of the 1966
US The Soft Machine self titled album. The story
goes that after the decision was made to censor
& simplify the cover they did one limited press run
of this unipak version. For whatever reason they
thought the production costs were still too high
with the unipak version so they settled on the
final censored version that most people know
very well. There are only 57 known copies
according to Discogs and the only other copy
for sale in the world right now is a G+ copy out
of Germany. See link:

The record is VG+ for a few light hairlines that do
not affect play at all. This record plays quiet &
strong with minimal surface noise only in the
silent parts. The sleeve is VG for a 1” seam split
on the spine, a hole punch in the lower left
corner, moderate corner dings, & ring wear (see
pictures). If you’re trying to collect all The Soft
Machine variants of this iconic psyche record,
my guess is you don’t have this one. I use the
Goldmine grading standard.
