Description

Very presentable stereo copy of Soft Machine's extraordinary 2nd album, dating from 1969. This is a first pressing on the original Probe black/silver label (later copies were on the pink label). Matrices are A-1G/B-1G.

Single Sleeve  VG+/Ex- Front laminated with flipbacks. In pretty good shape throughout, light wear to the corners and opening edge. Some handling wear and light creasing on the front. Light ringwear on the reverse.

Labels Ex Very clean indeed. Moderate spindlewear on Side 2 label, very light spindle traces on Side 1 label.

Inner Ex Polylined bag. Not the original.

Record Visually Ex, lovely shine to the vinyl. No marks seen in normal light apart from a very light hairline on Track 1 Side 2. The audio is easily Ex throughout, clear and well-defined with some very light crackle at times
