Description
The Sorrows TAKE A HEART LP, 1965 Piccadilly label first UK press, NPL 38023. With ORIGINAL inner sleeve, advertising other PYE LPs of the era.
This rare UK 1965 LP has had one owner since new and although it was taken to a few parties and friends houses over the years it is in very good condition overall with its original PYE advertising inner sleeve, still poly lined and unripped.
The RECORD has a slight edge warp which does not affect play, more visible on side 1 than side 2. It has mild crackling in some quieter parts and gaps with a few pops here and there, side 2 probably plays a bit better. Visually after a good clean it looks bright and shiny with a few age and scuff marks on the vinyl. The LABELS are nice and clean with no marks or writing.
The LP COVER is in a good, solid condition. Some age related discolouration on the back and a few spotty marks but NO writing, stickers or ugly markings. The flip backs are still strong and intact. Hopefully the pictures do it justice.
As a great BONUS the original PYE advertising INNER SLEEVE is present and complete. It is very unusual to find the original inner sleeves on 60s LPs as they often get damaged or lost over the years but this one survived and is in very nice condition.
The owner of this LP has set a reserve of £125 on this LP which I think is reasonable for its age and rarity and condition.
