Description

This is an obscure label variation of the
VERY FIRST pressing
- all of the dead-wax etchings
and stampings indicate it's the first pressing,
even though Discogs gets the exact sequence of
characters WRONG. Here they are, in the exact order
they appear on top of the lead-out groove:

Side A:
A1 (<---stamped) WJ (<---etched) H09P 1484 1 57672 I (all stamped after WJ)

Side B:
1 A1 H09P - 1485 - 2 (<---stamped) and WJZ (or WJ2?) a VERY tiny etching.

Visually graded AND fully play-graded,
VPI Machine-cleaned vinyl. Side A is VG+
with some light surface scuffs & marks that
CANNOT
be felt with a finger or fingernail.
Side B is STRONG VG due to a few scuff marks
across the middle tracks that are just barely felt.
Both "Deep Groove" labels are clean,
no stickers, stains or writing, but both labels
have spindle marks. We play graded both sides
entirely:
this AMAZING record PLAYS VG+
with some light, random, low level noise
here and there, mainly noticeable between songs
or during some quiet portions.
No loud pops or clicks.
The highs are crisp and the singing
sounds impeccable.
Front jacket laminate is semi-glossy,
but with minor shelf-wear:
printing and colors are NOT worn or affected.
No stickers or writing in front.
Top & bottom seams are totally split.
Spine is worn but intact. Back side is yellowed,
especially near the edges, and a single "Dave",
& multiples of "Claire" written discretely in back,
with ball-point pen, see photos.
