OverallGrading EXCELLENT

This album is possibly as good a copy as you are likely to find.  It is in really very nice overall condition for a 1966 mono recording and plays beautifully.  Most unusual for a pop record of that era when one considers the kind of record playing equipment in use at that time.

Labels : EXCELLENT

Classic UK 1st Press black and silver Fontana labels.  Both label sides are great with minimal signs of age, no writing, no stickers, and no tears whatsoever. Just has some light spindle marks from general light use over the years. Brilliant for a 54 year old record.

Record : Visual EXCELLENT

Original 1966 UK 1st Press Vinyl.  Nice bright, clean and shiny. Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks great with no excessively nasty marks, no deep scratches that ruin playback, and no vicious scuffs either.  It just has a few of the usual light, wispy sleeve traces, a couple of very light scratches and a few cosmetic scuffs.  Need to look really closely to see any faults at all in the vinyl.

Record : Audio  EXCELLENT

It plays brilliantly with fantastic mono clarity.  It really sounds incredible with no hisses, hops, distortion, sticks or skips. Only like pretty much all records has just a mere touch of the lightest crackle and a few light ticks here and there but generally it plays amazingly well.  

Sleeve : EXCELLENT

Original 1966 UK 1st press front laminated flipback sleeve.  The sleeve is in great condition.  No tears, no writing or graffiti.  Completely unmarked with just a couple of minor creases at the corners.   The spine is clean and legible and the laminate is undamaged.

Mint (M)

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX)

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG)

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable
