My 12" 78s albums ship in a 16x14x5 box in the following fashion (this packing is always adhered to, I do understand the 78 rpm community is jaded by bad packing so this packing method is always followed) :
First a layer of shipping peanuts, then on top of that the 78 are placed between 4 flats (2 on bottom, 2 on top), wrapped in bubble wrap. Album cover is placed on top or bottom separate from 78s. Then a layer of peanuts on top (box completely filled to try to insure no shifting while shipped).
