Many have asked for a ‘buy it now’ option.

So, for auction from £50, or bypass the crowd and buy it now for £150 (***ONLY AVAILABLE UNTIL THE FIRST BID IS CAST***), is this supremely rare ‘Stripes Over The Border Sleeve’ design copy of The Stone Roses debut album.

There’s been much speculation over the origins of this sleeve, with it’s unique red, white and blue stripes on the left are printed over the black border, the slice of lemon that replaces the ‘O” is a different slice of lemon compared to other UK vinyl issues, the embossed letters are in a slightly higher position, and the rear band photo is very dark (see photos).

Speculation that this might be the original sleeve design are somewhat of a mystery as the record of many don’t feature the first press matrices. Within my copy the record features the later ‘EX ORE LP 502 A2’ pressing matrix.

Neither less, this is a very, very rare sleeve design of this album and is so highly sought-after by completest ‘Roses fans I’ve priced it accordingly.
