The Story of Great Music - Time Life Records 6x Box Sets, each containing 4 x LPs
A total of 24 LPs, all in Near Mint Condition
For sale here is a collection of the following SIX box sets of classical music from Time Life Records, each set comprising four LPs of classical music by various composers.
- From the Rennaissance;
- The Baroque Era (still sealed);
- Age of Elegance;
- Age of Revolution;
- The Romantic Era;
- Prelude to Modern Music.
Each box also contains two booklets; a larger, beautifully illustrated one which gives the historical context of the development of the music on the discs in the set whilst a slimmer volume provides the listener with a detailed insight into each of the individual pieces of music on each of the eight sides of music.
The records themselves look like they may never have been played (and if so only very rarely) with the vinyl being particularly glossy and with little or no evidence of any spindle marks on the labels.
The two booklets in each set also look they have not been read or if they have then very carefully.
The outer box covers are also in excellent condition with just a little discolouring on the spine on some reflecting their age.
