Here's the story with Totem....
Every item in my collection, when received, always got the same treatment - a dusting or cleaning as required and separated into individual covers. This album, purchased directly from Hugh's site, arrived early one morning. It was placed on my dining room table while I read the paper. When I lifted my arm, it stuck to the album cover. To my horror it lifted a little bit of the front outer at the edge. The one and only time I broke my modus operandi. Gutted....
I repaired the cover with a little acrylic paint. Please see photos 4 & 5. Disgusted I placed the album into a cupboard and it's been there for the last 12 years. That's why there's a little ring wear on the album cover. In the spirit of everything in my collection has to go, I'm auctioning it at a discounted price.
On a positive note, the vinyl has never been played. As with Hugh's long playing offerings, it is on heavyweight vinyl. Weight-wise its like a brick. That only means that if the winning bidder decides to play and listen, which I would recommend, then they are in for a real treat as it is one listenable set of songs.
The very very best of luck if you decide to bid on this great album and hopefully look after it a bit better than I managed to do!
