Description

A QUICK MESSAGE TO ALL MY FOLLOWERS , I AM NOW BACK WITH A GREAT SELECTION OF MANY VERY RARE RECORDS AND OBVIOUSLY MY USUAL AND OTHER VERY COLLECTABLE 7" AND LP RECORDS AND COLLECTABLES WHICH ARE FROM MY OWN PERSONAL COLLECTION WHICH I HAVE NOW DECIDED TO COMPLETELY SELL OFF , I HAVE LOTS OF FANTASTIC RECORDS TO LIST SO PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON MY LISTINGS , MANY THANKS .

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL OF MY 7" AND 12" VINYL RECORDS ARE PRO CLEANED ON MY PROJECT VACUUM CLEANING MACHINE , THANK YOU .

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL RECORDS , CD's , CASSETTES AND DVD's ARE FULLY PLAY TESTED FROM START TO FINISH ON BOTH SIDES AND INCLUDING ALL SIDES FOR ALL DOUBLE AND TRIPLE ALBUMS AND BOX SETS ETC THANK YOU .

Please note that i do tend to use in and around the " Very Good / Near excellent Condition " grade for a lot of my records , although none are heavily scratched etc and most will just have some general light surface marks only . I never use a " Mint " or " Near Mint " grade . Everyone obviously has their own opinions as to what is very good and excellent , but in my case , i tend to think that most , if not all records do have marks to some degree ( lots even from new ! ) purely because they are vinyl and mark easy and have been used over a considerable amount of time in most cases . This is also why i do often go into more detail than most with my descriptions , as the term " Very Good " can be a bit vague . I do use the " Excellent Condition " grade , but in my case , i would class this as not played very much , excellent shine and just a handful of the very lightest whispy type hairlines only , most only being visible under a light , so you know that when i use excellent , i really do mean excellent and i do pride myself on this fact , i will say i can go a little OTT with noise and general condition and can often make a record sound bad when it really isn't , i do just try my best to say how it is , please don't forget though , that all records will obviously vary in sound quality etc on other set ups depending on the quality being used etc , but please do check out all of my feedback and you will see you can bid with confidence , thank you .

Postage prices shown are for the UK . All items are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48 post using Ebays Simple Delivery , unless otherwise stated in the listing . Sorry but I never use any couriers , this includes any prearranged couriers . Please note that I always obtain proper proof of postage when I post any items .

CD’s , Cassettes and DVD’s are sent in strong bubble wrap envelopes. These are also taped with brown parcel tape along all edges and seams for added protection.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY ITEMS WHICH END OR HAVE A PAYMENT CLEARED ON A THURS , FRI OR SAT WILL BE POSTED ON THE NEXT MONDAY AS I NOW ONLY POST ON MON , TUES AND WEDS , FEEDBACK WILL BE LEFT AFTER I HAVE RECEIVED YOUR FEEDBACK , THANK YOU .

The Stranglers The Raven LP 3D LTD ED COVER Banned Inner 1979 Pro Cleaned On UK United Artists / Liberty Records grey / red with white print and black raven head at the bottom paper labels UAG 30262 . Please see photos for track listings . I have copied some extra info from the Discogs site below:

Limited edition of 20 000 copies with lenticular print on the front of the sleeve.

This is the initial release which had the image of Joh Bjelke-Petersen on the inner sleeve artwork. Another limited edition was inadvertently created when the band was forced to remove this image. Petersen was the subject of the album's sixth track, "Nuclear Device (The Wizard of Aus)".

COVER: Factory single card cover with 3D " The Raven " picture on the front generally in a very strong very good / near excellent overall condition , though i think many would say airing a bit closer to the near excellent side overall . A very very few extremely light and mostly very small general age related / surface / handling marks in places and just two or three often seen very thin faint larger line marks / hairlines in places . The usual but generally very light only ring wear marks are present with just a light bit of rubbing in places . Some normal but very very light useage / age related wear on the side opening edges , both edges are nice and straight with just a small bit of " gapping " present , there are some usual but tiny bits of fraying / rubbing etc on the corners , but this is pretty much just on the tip ends , there is a small crease dink on both right hand side corners and one on the top left corner , but these really are very small , there are no really obvious signs of the usual rubbing in places on the edges , just a very few mostly very very light and very small usual crease crack lines in places ( one slightly bigger one on the rear , but i'd still say small ) round the edges , the spine is excellent and fully legible with just two or three very very light and very small dents in places , the cover is writing free .

INNER SLEEVE: Original banned inner sleeve in very good condition and nice and clean , the usual but quite light ring wear marks are present and a little very light denting in places , two or three tiny extremely light surface marks in places , barely visible , a very very few small and light crease crack lines in places round the edges , some bits of general rubbing in places on the edges and corner tips . There are no seam splits and it is writing free , i will also be putting the record into a new plain white paper inner sleeve .

LABELS: Grey / red with white print and black raven head at the bottom paper labels in near excellent condition , still very nice and clean with just a very very few usual but very light and small spindle marks , both labels are writing free.

** Please note that the greyish coloured mark seen in the same place on both S1 and S2 on the close ups of the record playing surfaces in the photos are purely a light reflection / glare and are not marks on the record , thank you ** .

RECORD: The overall visual grade of the playing surface under normal average household light conditions is a very very very strong between very good and near excellent condition , but i would safely say that most people would easily say closer to the near excellent side overall , but certainly far far better than very good , with just a very few extremely small and extremely light certainly non feelable surface marks in places and just some extremely light and very fine mainly just whispy type hairlines and sleeve removals , there are no nasty gouges / nasty scratches whatsoever , i will also say that a lot , if not most of these finer hairlines and actually some of the very few very small non feelable surface marks are really only more visible when held at certain angles to or under a light . Please note that there maybe the odd tiny dust particle or tiny bit of fluff etc seen on the record in places in the photos off my wiping cloth due to static etc , i can't see them on the record at the time but they sometimes do show up when I take the close up photos , this is also because i do take the photos before i vacuum clean the record , thank you for your understanding . Please see below for audio description .

AUDIO A SIDE: Silent run in has some usual but generally light / very light noise . It plays excellent , beautifully crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really nothing in the way of obvious noise that was worthy of mention , there was no nasty continuous crackle on the main music and no nasty ticks , there was a bit of crackle present on some of the silent track changeover lines ( slightly louder on T5 to T6 changeover ) and a very light extremely brief bit on the odd track fade off where the music ends , there may just have been the odd very faint isolated pop that i may have missed . Silent run off has some usual but generally light noise . This side on the music really does play and sound fantastic overall and the audio tones are still awesome .

AUDIO B SIDE: Silent run in has some usual but generally light noise . It also plays excellent , beautifully crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really next to nothing in the way of obvious noise that was worthy of mention and i think i'm being a bit picky here , i just heard the faintest very brief bit of crackle on the quieter intro of T2 and just very very briefly and again very faint in a couple of other quieter places , as i say i think i'm being picky here for an older record , any of this really was brief only and very faint only , there was no nasty continuous crackle and no nasty ticks , there was a bit of just overall very light usual noise on the odd silent track changeover line , there may just have been the odd very faint isolated pop on the main music that i may have missed . Silent run off has some usual but generally light noise . This side on the music really does play and sound fantastic overall and the audio tones are still awesome .

** Overall a really great sounding record and a nice clean cover ** .

There were no jumps etc when tested on my deck and it still retains a very nice shine . Any noises tend to be in short bursts only , are over quickly , are not constant and do not spoil any enjoyment . If any noises are more frequent or louder etc , they will be described separately in the above detailed descriptions thank you .

All in all a very nice example of this now very collectable item together with super overall sound , do turn this one up and enjoy ! . I have started this one off at a keen £39.99p , the extra shown is what Ebay add on for their fees . Thank you very much for your time and interest and happy bidding . Please do read the following ref record gradings explained thank you .

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times , but displays no major deterioration in sound quality , despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch , some forms of noise will more than likely be heard in places especially on the quieter parts and the odd tick or pop may also be heard in places especially on the quieter parts , but none of this will overpower any of the music in any way , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail . Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .

Very Good / Near Excellent: The record has obviously been played but shows no overly excessive play wear . There will be some light only surface marks though most will be just fine hairlines , there will be no major deterioration in sound quality at all though some amount of light noise / occasional light pop may be present in places especially on some of the quieter parts , but none of this will be loud or constant or overpower any of the music , the record will play through perfectly , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail . Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .

Near Excellent: The record has obviously been played but shows only light signs of this , a few of the lightest non feelable surface marks being mostly very fine hairlines will be present , but it displays no deterioration in sound quality . Some brief bits of very light noise and very occasional usual light pop maybe present in places and would be acceptable on some quieter parts , but none of this will be loud or constant or overpower any of the music , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail . Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .

Excellent : The record shows some signs of having been played , but there is very little lessening in sound quality , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail. Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .
