This listing:
The Stranglers
The Raven
1st issue of the Ltd 1st Press with Lenticular image of a Raven on the sleeve front.
Superb copy. Sleeve is excellent with only very minor signs of handling and storage. Inner is near Excellent with no splits and minor storage evidence.
The vinyl is Excellent+. Visually very nice and plays beautifully with no interference. A great first issue copy!
Pressing info:
There were three issues of this first press, this is the first.
This is the initial release which had the image of Joh Bjelke-Petersen on the inner sleeve artwork. Another limited edition was inadvertently created when the band was forced to remove this image. Petersen was the subject of the album's sixth track, "Nuclear Device (The Wizard of Aus)".
