The Streets - Original Pirate Material
2018 2LP Reissue (record currently out of print on vinyl?)
From my own cherished collection, I bought this brand new a couple of years ago and simply stored it away where it has remained sealed til today. Now opened though, ive had the chance to inspect, clean and playtest the LPs and all is well bar for what initially appears as non fill to an area of side 3 and 4 but mercifully i cannot detect any undue surface noise and theres no notable audible nasties... i would say an excellent pressing indeed despite the initial visual scare of LP2. Otherwise both LPs are unwarped and spin perfectly true. The records have been double deep cleaned in the Degritter machine for best possible performance which will be doubtless be helping with the playback on my rather old setup. The difference in sound when Degritted is profound.... cleaner and clearer regardless of how new or how old.
Jacket (nicely textured) in the factory shrink and printed inners are of course essentially as new albeit with a wee bit of creasing to the top right frontage (pictured)
Considering the asking prices for this recording on vinyl have lately shot up and are often double what im asking here, it would seem a good opportunity for someone wanting to play it/collect it now and feel safe that they are getting a fine copy thats been cleaned specifically to maximise its potential.
Thanks for looking!
