The Strikes - Texas Rockabilly

“If You Can’t Rock Me”/“Baby I’m Sorry” - Recorded in Fort Worth, Texas in November of 1956 and first issued on Lin Records in Gainesville, Texas. In March of 1957 the songs were reissued on Imperial Records. This is an original first pressing by this six-man rock’n’roll/rockabilly group.

Both sides of the vinyl are in very good (VG) condition and the disc has been cleaned in an ultrasonic record cleaner. The labels are shiny and bright green. There is a faint black X on the “Baby I’m Sorry” label that appears to have been made with a grease pencil.

This copy comes from the collection of a longtime disc jockey and record collector from Massachusetts who died in 2024.
