Description
The Style Council (Paul Weller, Mick Talbot, Dee C Lee and Steve White) was dominant in the UK singles and albums charts through the mid 1980s, from their first single ‘Speak Like a Child’, which was released in March 1983. Over four albums and 17 singles, The Style Council produced carefully constructed pop songs that combined social comment with plenty of 60s influences, particularly from the mod era. All of their hits as well as key album tracks are included here, along with stylish artwork that was also an integral part of the band’s releases.
