Description

Thanks for checking out my albums! I've been collecting records for 20 years or so, to re-live my youth. Oh to be in the 60's again, far out man, but its time to give up those days. Well, maybe I'll just sell a few albums and think about it, I'm not that old, I can still party with the best of them, as long as the parties over by 8:00. Anyway I'm sure you will find the albums I put up for bid will have some tear stains on them, I mean they are some pretty decent 1st pressings, or HTF releases. Lots of Beatles, late 50's and 60's. Oh yeah, quite a few Audiophile pressing too.

A really nice copy of this HTF album. Clean vinyl, cover and labels. When play grading this album, I think I had a flashback, to earlier, simple times, when life was easy, and the music was soft.

Phil Spector, what a talent, and life, up until a few years ago. Here's a little tidbit from the early days.

Spector had a falling out with Dore over royalties. It was the usual story of a small company trying to capitalize on a first success, then being unable to get wholesalers to pay for all the records that had been shipped to them. Spector claimed he was owed $20,000. Dore said it didn't have the money. Spector and the Teddy Bears signed with Imperial Records and their first single "I Don't Need You Anymore" was released in mid-January. Spector had problems while at Imperial. He was no longer in charge of the production, allowed to use Goldstar Studios or allowed to use stacked vocals. The Teddy Bears only recorded two singles  and one album  when they left Imperial.
