Description
I am not a dealer but I will try to describe the record and sleeve as accurately as possible. Please feel free to ask questions. I will pack the record carefully with reinforced cardboard and remove the record from the sleeve before posting.
LP by Salamander - The Ten Commandments. Original 1971 pressing on the Young blood label.
SSYB 14 UK Stereo first pressing
1st press A1/B1 matrixes (SSYB A-1 and B1). The record complete with original inner sleeve and gatefold poster outer sleeve.
The record is in very good condition. I have held it under a bright light and can see no scratches or marks. . The label is in good clean condition. There is one slight spindle mark in the centre which makes the record appear as if it has only played once. It certainly feels virtually unused.
The inner sleeve is in excellent condition. No rips, marks or tears.
The outer sleeve is in good overall condition with no obvious fading. There is a very small hole where the record sleeve has been folded - I have tried to photograph this. This is unnoticeable when folded. There is light wear to the edges consistent with being handled lightly. The spine appears reasonable - again please see photos. I have just noticed a tiny mark on the front cover about 1mm2. Not sure if this is the remains a sticker??? It is hidden in the rock area so very hard to see.
All in all, I think this record is in very good condition. I haven't played the record - for fear of damaging! But it is in such good condition you can bid with confidence.
