The Third Power "Believe" original USA 33 1/3 rpm Long-playing (LP) phonograph record, Vanguard Records VDS-6554, with album cover. The stereo record album is still sealed in it's original shrink wrap. Awesome psychedelic rock. This was the first and only album by The Third Power. The Third Power featured Jim Targal (bass, lead vocals), Drew Abbott (all guitars, vocals, vocal harmonies), and Jim Craig (drums, vocal harmony). "Believe" was recorded at Vanguard's 23rd Street Studio, New York City. "Believe" was released in the United States, in 1970. The songs on the record are (Side One) "Gettin' Together" (4:18), "Feel So Lonely" (4:17), "Passed By" (3:43), "Lost In A Daydream" (2:31), "Persecution" (3:24), (Side Two) "Comin' Home" (3:49), "Won't Beg Any More" (4:28), "Crystalline Chandelier" (3:41), and "Like Me Love Me" (5:23). "Gettin' Together" and "Won't Beg Any More" were written by Drew Abbott and Jim Targal. "Like Me Love Me" was written by Jim Craig, Drew Abbott, and Jim Targal (The Third Power). All other songs were written by Jim Targal. The record was produced by Sam Charters. The phonograph record is still sealed in it's original shrink wrap, has never been played, and is in mint condition. The album cover is in near mint condition. There is a small hole in the bottom left corner of the album cover. This is the nicest copy of this record that you could find. The 2001 "Goldmine Record Album Price Guide" lists a near mint copy of "Believe" at $30.00. That is a five year old price, and this copy is better than "near mint" ... it is unplayed, factory sealed.
