Description
Before I start with the item description I would inform you that have been selling on Ebay for more than 15 years. During this time I have built up excellent feedback. So you can buy from a trusted seller in the knowledge that any issues will be resolved swiftly and in a professional way. OK, now the important stuff.
This Record has been played entirely within the last few days so my description is as accurate as possible allowing for subjective viewpoints. The photos are an important part of the description so please review when considering to buy. The photos are of the actual record and covers that are for sale. When listing records I never use stock photos.
Vinyl LP by The Thrills.
I bought this record at a shop called Head in Cardiff many moons ago. It has remained in my collection unplayed - until now. When negotiating a sale with a potential Ebay customer who required details about the matrix number I noted the vinyl has some fine marks on it. Probably caused by movement in the hard card inner sleeve or possible in the record shop or manufacturing process. Anyway, to test the quality I give it a spin on the turntable. Hence it is now relisted as used. I played it once in its entirety and despite the light marks it plays perfectly. Grading as follows:
The Vinyl - Excellent. This has the A1-B1 dead wax matrix number which I believe is a first press. Played only once. Some fine marks can be seen when twisting in bright light.
The Cover - Excellent condition. Spine text is perfect. Its still in firm as new condition with no scuffs around the edge. There are some very minor signs of shelf life / the record being handled.
Inner Sleeve - Mint
Lyrics Sheet - Good to very good. No major defects other that a crease in one corner.
Condition gradings:
MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
