Description

This is an original ultra rare copy of the Trees performing "The Christ Tree". I picked up this record about 6 months ago not knowing much about it. I thought it looked interesting. I played it and I was pretty floored by it. It is a very inventive record. It was performed in a 100 year old flour mill in Northern Michigan. It was released on a private label "Pomegranate" in 1975. It says that there are very few overdubs. Mostly everything was played live. On the back it has the back story including how it was recorded. In grading my records I always use the Goldmine Standard. The cover is in VG condition it has some wear on the front cover and some splitting in the spine. The vinyl is VG+. I have played the entire record. Side 1 has some light sleeve scuffs. Side two has a couple of scuffs that are slightly audible. But overall it plays clean.
