Description

"The Trojan Story" (Trojan Records TALL 1000) RARE original 3-LP box set. The striking box cover is VG+, with some discoloration on the right hand side, and 1 little half-inch tear at the top of the spine. The vinyl is Mint-minus, and looks to be unplayed -- this box is from the collection of a retired music reviewer, who was overwhelmed with material. If he played it at all, it was once or twice. Sight graded. Strict grading. Includes the original Trojan Records insert, with astute commentary on all of the songs, which include seminal tracks by the Maytals, Lee Perry, Derrick Morgan, Don Drummond, Alton Ellis and many more greats.
