Description

VG+ Records are going to have surface noise . I assure you . If you ever need something play tested . I would be more than happy to do so. I respect collectors and understand the importance . Please disregard the ebay grading method completely . It's not so much that they are flying blind. I just use a different set of principals . I always thought UK RECORD collector was a bit more refined than Goldmine.

Play graded records possible! Just ask!!!
Vg+:  People seem to think Vg+ is right of the wrapper . I'm not sure what guide they are using. Personally I would think Vg+ Records have spindle marks on the label. You will also hear various noise through out. If Vg+ is just opened . Then mint grade on vinyl  would be the master tape. Or the band in the recording process. Possibly being as far as being press .
And the covers would not being printed yet . They would be in the mechanical graphics dept, being stripped and burning plates . Or possibly being pressed or bound .
THE TROLL USA STEREO SMASH LBL. CLEAN COVER : Has tiny bb hole , top left . Small crease top right. Tiny tick lower right . Minimal ink loss . Was in plastic  sleeve . Nice easy EX.
RECORD : 1 spindle mark . Looks EX+ TO NM . Didn't play it . Very clean. 
Inner sleeve - One sided . Has the two factory rammed corners - dog eared. 2 torn seams , 1 not . Discoloration of paper present . 
I always grade the cover first Inner sleeve always graded Obi strip is graded Box and booklets graded.


I use "Record Collector" Magazine grading . And add a "NM" inbetween M and EX. One grade is equal. Covers graded first. VG+ Records will have surface noise accompanied w/ classic surface noise. I gurantee that . Don't buy the VG+ If you are picky like myself!

RECORD COLLECTORS GRADING SYSTEM

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayed no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
