Here is a rare opportunity to buy a Mint condition original Undertones -Teenage Kicks on the Good Vibrations label, the label prior to the singles subsequent release on Sire records. I followed the band from their very earliest days at the Casbah bar in Derry and loved this song, it's still my favourite of all time. When I returned to Derry in September 1978 to attend school after the summer holidays working in London I found out the record had just been released and I used my last £8.00 to buy 10 copies, two of each coloured sleeve, white, yellow, pink, green and blue. At the time I thought it would help get them into the charts, little did I know about how few of these were actually pressed by Good Vibrations. The Undertones website only refers to the first 4 colours of sleeves and poses the question (maybe theres more?). You can see from the photos there was a blue coloured sleeve. I played one record to death until the release of the first album, the other singles were never played and I gradually gave them away to friends. However, now is your chance to buy one of the remaining 3 Mint singles in the photo. The winning bidder only has to let me know at the end of the auction which of the 3 they'd like, the paper sleeves are all much of the same condition, the records have never been played.
