For auction is a very rare copy of How To Blow Your Mind & Have A Freak Out Party by The Unfolding. The only album released by the American psychedelic rock band in 1967. The first side are songs that are awesome examples the rock sound that was familiar to the era. The second side is filled with arrangements heavily using the sitar and features chants and spoken word tracks that make this album very interesting and unique to others in the genre. This copy is an original 1st stereo press. A novelty record that is very hard to find and would be an amazing addition to any collection!!
Vinyl is play graded G+. Many visible surface marks but nothing deep enough that can be felt. Plays with obvious background noise throughout that can be overwhelming at times. Despite that, still a decent listen and somewhat enjoyable because the songs are so different. Also, the record plays through with NO skips or jumps. Please see pics.
Cover is in VG- condition. Shelf wear on corners and seams. Bottom has an inch split from open edge and the top has one from the title edge. Title is fully legible. Wear along open side., Minor creasing on front and back and light fading and ring wear on both sides. Still solid and protects this rare vinyl. Please see pics.
