DESCRIPTION: The United States Of America 1st self titled LP. Original UK pressing with front laminated sleeve, orange CBS labels, A1/B1 matrix and correct CBS advertising inner. Super heavyweight vinyl weighing in at 180gm and yes its a 1968 original not a modern day monstrosity. More Psych/Prog/Kraut/Kosmische to come in next few weeks. Postage cost includes tracking and a box mailer. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Phillips International 6336 210. YEAR OF RELEASE: 1972. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG+. Both sleeve and vinyl are a lot closer to EX than VG. Vinyl is really clean with a nice sheen and some light hairlines . Played passages of this this morning on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Plays EX. Music is Loud, clean and clear. Great music as well. Cover is in great shape. It is firm and square and has only light light edge wear , corner wear and creasing. Name printed neatly in tiny letters to rear of sleeve. Very clean advertising inner with only light wear and no splits. . Really clean labels, again apart from a tiny name printed neatly to one side. No other writing and no rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER KRAUT/PSYCH/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
